This Privacy Policy explains how A11y (“we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our accessibility scanning platform.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you submit a scan, we receive the URL or file you provide. We do not store the full content of uploaded files beyond the time required to complete the scan. Files are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

How we use your information

We use your information to: deliver the accessibility scanning service, send you scan reports and product updates you have requested, and improve the accuracy of our scanning engine. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Uploaded files are deleted within 24 hours of the scan completing. Scan result summaries (score, issue counts) may be retained in your account history until you delete your account.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information. We do not store card details on our servers.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at support@a11y.app. We will respond within 30 days.
